Strottman: To start off the interview could you briefly could you tell me when and where you were born and something about your early education and training.
Theresa Strottman: We are talking with Winston Dabney and we thank you very much for coming.
Winston Dabney: I’m glad to be here.
Strottman: Briefly to begin could you tell us when and where you were born and something about your early education.
Theresa Strottman: We are speaking at MIT with Professor French. And we thank you very much for allowing us to interview you here today. To start off the interview, we wonder if you could briefly tell us where you were born and something about your early education and training?
Yvonne Delamater: We are interviewing Lawrence Antos for the Manhattan Project video and we thank you for coming here today all the way from Albuquerque. Briefly tell me when and where you were born and something about your education and training.
Lawrence Antos: I was born in Berlin, Illinois just outside of Chicago. I went to high school. Then I was drafted into the Army in 1942, December. My high school education is the only one I have.
Yvonne Delamater: We are interviewing Berlyn Brixner and thanks so much for coming. Briefly tell me when and where you were born and something about your education and training.
Theresa Strottman: We are talking with Harold Agnew who has worked here [at Los Alamos] during the Manhattan Project and later was Lab Director. And we thank you very much for coming today. Our first question is if you could briefly tell us when and where you were born and something about your education and training.
Theresa Strottman: As we start, could you briefly tell me when and where you were born and something about your early education and training?
Theresa Strottman: We are speaking with Arno Roensch. We thank you for coming this morning. To start off the interview, I was wondering if you could briefly tell me when and where you were born and something about your early education and training.
Arno Roensch: I was born in Berlin, Germany—1918. We came to this country in 1922. I remember the boat we came on, it was called the S.S. Orbeta; it was a British vessel. It took 21 days to cross the Atlantic.
